During my trip to the coast, I was so inspired with photography, that I took every chance I could get to shoot something new. One day in pouring rain I went to Armstrong Redwoods State Park, and didn´t shoot much, but got a couple cool shots and just enjoyed a type of experience we just never get here in the desert.
I also made it to the Marin Headlands to shoot some nighttime cityscapes of the Golden Gate Bridge. This particular trip was very spontaneous. I was driving in from the coast and was aiming to make it to the foothills of the Sierra that night to sleep. It was about 10pm and I was still wide awake and had caffeine in the car, so I decided to drive down to San Francisco, about an hour out of my way. I´ve been really inspired lately by my good friends Chris Williams and Will Jacks since they love to shoot at night, and I thought some cool cityscapes would be a blast and something totally new for me. I spend a few hours looking out over the city and shooting and it was a blast. I then headed for the hills and didn´t get till bed until about 4am that night, but I love that inspiration has been plentiful lately and I feel very thankful for this life of freedom that I live.
