Yesterday was another gorgeous day in the eastern sierra and I was stoked to have an amazing mountain engagement shoot with Audrey and Scott. First we went to Convict Lake where we were treated with a half frozen lake that was reflecting the late afternoon sun rays of sparkling beauty. It was so nice. We then headed above Mammoth Lakes to a really cool perch that looked out over the whole valley. It was amazing!! Scott picked both areas and they were killer. I love shooting at Convict Lake and shoot there often, but the perch above Mammoth was new and exciting.
Scott and Audrey are living apart right now while Audrey finishes up school and Scott trains for some races this summer (he´s a professional runner), so it was really nice to capture some beautiful images of them together. I´m super excited for their wedding at the Ahwahnee in Yosemite this summer. After that they´re off to Europe together for a while. Sweet!! Scott and Audrey, thanks for meeting with me yesterday. I had so much fun getting to know you and I hope you did to. Enjoy the pics and I look forward to being in touch.

Frank DiMeo: Shawn these are awesome! The new blog is spectacular too, congratulations! Wow, I really love the image of the guy standing above the clouds, next to the tree in your earlier post. I was telling a friend about you and I said that you live in a place that is paradise on earth. Hope you are well and wish you the best always.

cindy Schultz: Shawn - your images give me goosebumps! I am so jealous of your backdrop. Audrey and Scott were captured so beautifully. They are a lucky couple to have you as their photographer/artist on their wedding day!
