Yesterday afternoon I went up to Yosemite Valley again for some more creative exploration with the Canon 17 Tilt Shift lens. I hiked up torwards the Cathedral spires looking for a rock outcropping I had been to many years before. After a little bit of adventure, I found my spot just as the sun was starting to creep up El Capitan. The afternoon winter light bathed El Cap in a golden glow, and moments like these my friends, is why I love Yosemite. A peacful quiet juxtaposed against some of the grandest scenery our planet affords us.
One thing I´ve found with the tilt shifts, is that it makes it harder for me to choose favorites!! Sometimes just a subtle tilt or shift makes a whole new image, yet still has a very similar composition. So I tried my best to narrow down these images, but I´d love to hear from you. Do you have any favorites???
