Outdoor Photographer

I am an outdoor destination photographer who specializes in Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada, and travels anywhere to capture images for my clients.  I have spent the past thirteen years exploring and photographing the glories of Yosemite and the High Sierra. I´ve always loved the outdoors, and was blessed by winning a trip to Yosemite when I was 18. This trip changed my life as I knew I´d found my home, the Sierra Nevada; so majestically represented by one of it´s grandest valleys.

This introduced me to "The Range of Light", a place that has captured my heart and provides a lifetime´s worth of places to explore, photograph, and just be. I started spending summers in Tuolumne Meadows and have hiked, climbed, and basked in the glory of these mountains; finding a deep love for the High Sierra and all it´s subleties of light, mood, texture, and feeling.

I also find incredible joy in capturing images of people and their interaction with each other and their environment.  I love trying to capture the moment as opposed to creating the moment.  This allows each person´s uniqueness to truly come through.  I love the moments when people have totally forgotten that I´m there, and I can capture them in their truest essence.

I believe the wonderous landscape of this amazing Earth we call home is a reflection of the inner spirit and connectedness we all have.  With these inspirations, I love to be able to share with others a vision of beauty, through photography, to inspire, and to realize, that we all have this beauty within.
